I am struck by the realization that fighting over print books is a limited battle in that I don't think younger people are going to read print books very much from this point on. And politicians, for now, cannot control what the few kids that want to read a book access online. Keep up the good fight, but the majority of us need to put our energies into showing up at the polls to vote out the fascists in the midterms. but we also need to be getting together and discussing how we're going to handle the AI post labor crisis and the post-truth society. These are our existential battles and they require all hands on deck.
