I work at a hotel at the front desk and have people complain about this all the time. I've even had people come down and complain about seeing housekeepers drinking out of water bottles on the floors.

i actually had a mystery shopper put in their report that they saw one of the employees take a sip from a water bottle, and higher ups wanted me to have a word with that employee, I refused and said he didn't do anything. wrong. its crazy that people think retail staff aren't human and aren't allowed to do normal human things 😂

Welcome to both hospital and restaurant life. Consuming WATER will not kill our patients OR our customers! in FACT it allows us to continue to SERVE EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!! AS will allowing us to PEE!(We are the same, and WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!)

In my case, clients were horrified when we told them we couldn't drink water on the shops. I remember even one of them wanted to complain.

I eat in front of customers when I vend at quilt shows and drink 😂 no one says a thing and why would they. We all have a right to eat and drink
