You don't need a permit after October. But they're not telling you is that after October they close the road down. So if you wanna go to that waterfall in particular you're looking at about a day and a half walk

I would definitely swim there. I don’t like dark water, and this water is clear as crystal. Beautiful. Bet it’s cold though.

You have to have a permit during certain months and the months you don’t the gates are locked and you have to walk and it’s a long ass walk.
