@davidbromstad012: It’s been a really difficult and depressing few days, and honestly, I’ve been struggling to feel like myself. Sometimes I look back at the person I used to be—the old me who laughed more, created without overthinking, found joy in the little things, and didn’t carry so much heaviness—and I find myself wishing I could get that David back. I know life has its ups and downs, and I know healing doesn’t happen overnight, but that doesn’t make the difficult days any easier. There are moments when I feel tired, lost, and disconnected from the person I know I can be. I miss that spark. I miss feeling genuinely excited about things. Most of all, I miss feeling like myself. I’m trying to remind myself that the old me isn’t necessarily gone. Maybe he’s still here somewhere, just waiting for me to find my way back to him. I’m taking things one day at a time, trying to be kinder to myself and remembering that it’s okay not to have everything figured out. To everyone who continues to send love, encouragement, and kindness—thank you.
