i understand it is frustrating but just know the content you post impact your visibility. artists rarely get popular fast unless they do challenges or something. it took me three years before having 400 followers so keep going even if the views and likes are low. complaining will only impact your account

Getting an audience is now harder than in was before partially because platforms like tiktok start recommending your posts to other people based on how much interactions(comments, shares, likes, bookmarks) you already have (small amount=they think people don’t like what you’re doing, they won’t push it into recommendations, a lot of interactions=they will think you’re content is interesting and push it onto more people), and people nowadays seem to interact waaaay less than they did before, I had multiple old accounts on here and other platforms and just a few years ago people were so eager to comment and share your stuff to their friends, now you can see posts with thousands likes and ZERO comments😨 I don’t know why exactly it became like this but it definitely plays a big part on why it’s so much harder to find a following now, the only thing we can do is to try to uplift other artists and hope they will do the same to others too, I personally always try to comment, like, share, watch a video until the end in hopes that my engagement will help people to get more visibility

I post on yt and I have 602 subs after posting art for 2 or 3 yrs. two weeks ago, I tried posting an old animation trend and got like 30 likes I'm not great at art and I don't expect to get likes and stuff but I feel you😭😭

sadly unless it has a shock value things doesnt get on fyp 💔 I had one of my videos go viral and I did nothing those "creator insight" stuff I didnt even use hashtags just posted it because it wasnt high effort like my other and it went viral It feels frustrating
