@clutch_unfiltered: Robert Greene is an American author and speaker known for his books and teachings on strategy, power, human behavior, psychology, and personal development. His work explores the patterns behind human behavior and the timeless principles that influence ambition, relationships, leadership, and success. His journey from studying history and human nature to becoming one of the most influential modern writers on strategy has become a central part of his message: understanding people and yourself gives you greater control over the direction of your life. Greene’s philosophy centers around mastering yourself, understanding human nature, developing strategic awareness, and learning from the patterns of history. He emphasizes that success is not simply about talent or hard work—it is about understanding how people think, controlling your emotions, developing patience, and becoming strategically aware of the environment around you. Your emotions can influence your decisions, but they don’t have to control your future. You may face manipulation, rejection, setbacks, or people who underestimate you. None of that changes the responsibility you have to understand yourself, study human behavior, and develop the discipline required to respond intelligently rather than react impulsively. Stop allowing temporary emotions to dictate permanent decisions. Study people, understand yourself, develop patience, and learn to see situations from a wider perspective. Build your skills, control your reactions, and keep improving even when progress feels slow. Your current position is only a starting point—not a permanent definition of your potential. Cortisol literally makes you fat, unhealthy, and worse off. My cholesterol was so high because cortisol influences the production of cholesterol, I barely could sleep, and my motivation for the gym was basically gone. Then I let go of my biggest stresses and I’m locked tf in.

This is why I love competitive games an actual stress situation that gives an actual reward unlike school work where it’s stress with no outcome just a number that says that you did good

Everything in moderation, is what my dad always used to say. Don't be bored out of your mind every day, and don't be stressed out of your mind every day. You need balance. You should find work that is atleast somewhat interesting and somewhat stressful, but also gives you time and freedom to be somewhat relaxed and feel somewhat bored. In the boredom, we find what interests and excites us. But only when that boredom is temporary and hard-earned. We need constant stimulation and pressure that demands in us to act and returns instantaneous feedback on whether we acted appropriately or not. That's how we learn and grow and improve. It's how we derive meaning and fulfillment and satisfaction out of this life. So find a job that is somewhat demanding but not so demanding you're stressed out every single day and night. And find a job somewhat interesting, so you're not bored out of your mind wondering when will it all end. And then find the free time between work to be able to relax and to be a little bored. You don't always need to be hammering away at some project or task that excites you and demands your time, thought, and energy. In the boredom, you notice the tiny beautiful things that life is all about - the first flower of spring, the little goofy moments with your family, a meandering walk down an unexplored trail. And it is these brief moments of boredom you may find yourself working toward each week. But be careful. Allowing yourself too much of that boredom can make you take the freedom for granted, and you stop utilizing it to the fullest potential. You stop exploring. You stop wondering. You stop being present. Balance in all things is the key.

Mind you guys this guy does not have a study in psychology. He specifically educate people on past findings that have been later proven wrong. Please understand that listen to someone actually studies it don’t be listening to someone that actually find certain information on pass philosophers or people that have already been proven wronged💀💀

I too disagree... you don't benefit from higher levels of cortisol... Sorry Bob, not true. Boredom and Stress are two very different things. Stress and Relaxation are related. Don't see the correlation.
