The conductor refuses to open the door because he knows you can pull your foot out but refuse to. If you keep it there long enough, the cops will show up. You shouldn’t be holding up the train. Full stop.

There is no lawsuit guys lol. If ypu ride the subway they have several sensory warnings to stand clear of the closing doors. Also, holding the doors can damage them and then everyone has to get off.
