So everyone is willing to talk about mental illness when it comes to Lindsay Clancy, but when Chris Benoit is mentioned, suddenly his mental state doesn’t matter? The man was found to have severe CTE after decades of taking head trauma in wrestling. Nobody is saying that excuses murdering his family—it absolutely doesn’t. But if mental health and brain damage matter when discussing one horrific case, then at least be consistent when discussing the other.
