From this video clip, several observations indicate that it was created or processed using AI (AI-generated/AI-assisted video), which is common in this type of channel. The main observations are as follows:
1. Hyper-realism & Consistency: The orangutan in the clip can select, pluck, and arrange branches and leaves in an orderly and rapid manner, as if scripted. Meanwhile, the composition, lighting, and shadows in each shot are incredibly sharp and smooth, like a 3D render.
2. Motion Artifacts: If you observe the orangutan's hands or the joints between branches, you will find that the shape of the branches or fingers may be slightly distorted or changed in a sudden way (morphed), which is a characteristic of videos created using generative AI.
3. Consistency of the Background and Objects: The woven leaves and branches appear to be created from a model attempting to simulate the physics of nest building. However, in reality, the orangutan building a large nest with a perfectly still camera angle and beautifully arranged composition, like a large-scale documentary every second, is not a realistic representation of AI-generated video. This is often the work of modern AI video generators.
