@missannettespreschool: Flip your sensory table upside down for this simple fall fine-motor activity! 🍂 Children use clothespins to attach fall leaves to ribbon while building hand strength, coordination, focus, persistence, and problem-solving skills. My favorite part was watching them experiment and discover their own solutions without me stepping in. Sometimes the best learning happens when we give children time to figure it out! 🍁 #PreschoolActivities #FallActivities #FineMotorSkills #LearningThroughPlay #preschoolteacher
and by allowing them to find the solutions themselves they gain so much confidence and independence
if they KNOW you will always solve all their problems for them then they never gain that confidence and the pride that comes from figuring it out themselves and the growth that comes from knowing you're allowed to try and fail first before you succeed

You have such easy ideas that I can realistically do in my Prek class. After teaching kindergarten for 25 years, I’m having to obtain ideas for my new students to play and learn at the same time. You have a new follower! Thank you!!

I mean as a full grown adult, I still get a rush at figuring something difficult out by myself
