How do you know how much to feed them in the bottle? If they don’t drink the whole bottle I’m wasting all that pumped milk

I try to give breast first but he gets so frustrated and won’t latch for longer than a minute or two. I saw a consultant and of course he did great during the appt 😮💨

My 36 weeker is four weeks now, and I want to top her off, but she gets so sleepy during nursing sessions. As soon as she finishes nursing it’s impossible to wake her up for another 20 minutes.

My LO is two weeks old and we introduced some bottles bc of imperfect latch and jaundice. With large breasts I’m finding BD/latch challenging and am going to keep working on it over time but see a world in which for mental health overnight we lean on bottles and I don’t know if I have it in me to start on breast for each night feed (provided we can’t get to perfect latch). If I make sure to pump at those night bottle feeds and try for some breastfeeding during the day do you think that’s an “okay” outcome/plan?

I rather pump in the time I give a bottle. You getting the stimulus and you also getting peace from breastfeeding on demand for just one feed. I am only combo feeding because I have a 18 month old that also needs me and also my nervous system is getting too overwhelmed
