As a psych nurse, this is why I do what I do 🥺💕 the fact that you remember that person’s name shows the impact she had on you. I hope to be that for my patients even if it’s the smallest difference that makes them feel hope for the future and wanting to stay another day

I fought this same fight. I sat down finally with my family and told them everything. I now advocate through every storm there is some good, sometimes you just have to take a step back and find it. Younger me would be so proud and in awe and I know younger you would be too ❤️

September is also childhood cancer awareness month - I struggled as a teenager with the guilt of surviving, and losing so many friends on my hospital floor. So glad I stayed, and now I work in the same hospital i battled cancer as a kid ❤️

My amazing daughter stayed another day in 2019. She stayed in a hospital for a week and when she got put she was laughing. She told me stories about booty juice, to calm girls down. She still has bad days, of course but she's able to deal with them now!!
