Yeah, that is an overkill. I have Citi custom cash that pays out 5 percent on groceries for no charge. Chase Shappire gets you 3 percent on gas and dining for $95. However, I do keep Amex platinum because it gets me good value on Resy and hotel upgrades plus five percent Chase back when buying directly with the airline. Longe is an added bonus.

Ok but the only issue is that a lot of the grocery stores don’t except Amex so I wouldn’t be unitizing the points if I say I shop at no frills or superstore?
