It’s not embarrassing. I went to an NFL game by myself. I sat on the 50 yard line in the third row. I got to see my team up close. I’ve been following the Philadelphia Eagles for over 20 years. It was amazing! I was so star struck. I’d rather be alone than be with people who say they love me but their actions prove otherwise.

I would but the furthest I can get is the parking lot any and everywhere. I have severe social anxiety and my anxiety attacks causes my to lose feeling in my hands and feet and face and sometimes I lose my eye sight and everything goes white. I can’t do anything alone and I hate it no matter how bad I want to my body just won’t let me.

I completely agree! I finally stopped waiting to find someone to do things with. I go to concerts alone, dinner, travel. it still kind of sucks but I refuse to put my life on hold

I’m 47, lost my mom April 2025, lost my soul dog May 2026. I’m alone, grieving but managing. I’m going to fix up my dad’s old truck (he died in 2000) and join a truck club. Maybe that will work, because the solitude and weirdness of being alone is pretty bad. 😎

Well, I was married for 46 years and 77 years old my only child and grandchild live in Oklahoma City. I live in Arkansas and I’m by myself sometimes every week sometimes I have friends that I go do stuff with, but I can’t tell you how many days I sit here alone eat alone spend the entire day and night alone sometimes it gets to me, but I try not to let it because people have a life and I understand that but just saying yes, I know what it feels like to be alone. It’s not fun.

Yep I’m in my feelings today and can’t stop crying, I’m afraid but I try to push myself more and more each day to do things alone everyday and know it’s ok I got me and this life to live 💖
