Yes! I was 29 years old when I got married (all my cousins were married between the ages of 20 and 23) but I didn’t just marry someone to get married. I waited. I truly thought I found a great guy, he literally checked all the boxes. Within three months of being married, I knew I was in trouble and within nine months of being married, he was a completely different person. It took me way too long to realize that a guy I dated was the fake guy he just put on a show so that I would marry him, and then he dropped the façade.
