This sounds like racist bs. Maori did have battles but they were usually ritualised, to achieve reparations or in response to a specific wrong. Few people were usually killed and cannibalism was done to humiliate, in specific situations. The idea that they were engaged in endless slaughter is (mostly) plain wrong
