@justinfreakin: Jury Indicates They Can’t Reach Unanimous Verdict In Lindsay Clancy Trial Jurors deliberating in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy asked to go home for the evening and resume work Wednesday morning. Earlier in the day, the group had said they were deadlocked in the case of the Massachusetts mother accused of strangling her three children in 2023, but the judge urged them to keep working. A jury of nine women and three men is deciding if Lindsay Clancy, 36, is guilty of killing 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan or if she is not criminally responsible due to her mental health. Their work began Thursday afternoon and they worked a full day on Friday and Monday. Shortly after deliberations resumed Tuesday, the jury said it had a question for the judge. Court was called back into session, and the defense and prosecution met with the judge at a sidebar. The jury told the court they were unable to come to a unanimous decision. Judge William Sullivan then asked the jury to spend more time and continue their deliberations. "I got your question, and the question is: 'After many hours of deliberation, we are unable to come to a unanimous decision.' I brought you back out because I know that this was a long trial. I know that there are over 80 witnesses. There are over 300 exhibits. But because of that, I am going to ask you to go back out, keeping in mind all of the instructions that I gave you, to go out and continue your deliberations at this time," Sullivan said. #news #truecrime #lindsayclancy
