@.w.h653: If the neighbours country 🇦🇺or outside world can see the corruption and challenges facing Papua New Guinea, then it is time for our government and leaders to seriously consider change. 🇵🇬 I recently had the privilege of meeting a great man, Jonathan Brown, an aircraft engineer, who took us around some beautiful places in Cairns, Australia. I was truly inspired by what I saw,the development, infrastructure, tourism, public services, and the way communities are supported. Jonathan Brown shared something that really made me think. With due respect, he said: “Papua New Guinea has a lot of resources and wealth. If PNG can seriously address corruption and strengthen accountability throughout the country, then our people can have better services and a much better standard of living like an Australia”🇦🇺🇵🇬🙏🏻 Those words really touched me. Papua New Guinea is a beautiful country blessed with incredible natural resources, culture, land, and opportunities. 🇵🇬 Our people deserve better roads, healthcare, education, infrastructure, employment opportunities, tourism development, and essential services. The issue is not that PNG has nothing. We have so much. What we need is responsible leadership, transparency, accountability, strong institutions, and leaders who genuinely put the people first. Development should not only be seen in the cities. It must reach our rural communities, villages, islands, and districts where ordinary people continue to struggle. I believe PNG can do better. I believe our young generation can be part of that change. And I believe leadership must always be about serving the people, not serving ourselves. 🇵🇬🙏🏽 This was a powerful lesson and something worth thinking about. What do you think?
