They do prosthetic fingers the same way ish. My grandfather lost two fingers and went in and there was a person who painted the finger to match his skin tone and age spots and everything. It was so real that he went to the hospital once and the nurse attached the heartbeat monitor to it and there was a freak out when there was no pulse
