Another thing you could consider is finding a person needing a roommate and splitting the cost of an apartment or house...even if it's for a month or two...it could give you security of a bed to rest...or saving some for another place or maybe a home on wheels...or a tiny home. Just thinking of future living with that last part. I've always been on the mindset of smaller living vs trying to go for that pipe dream life of white picket fence cràp.

I lived in my car and still worked. Mentally it’s draining and completely understand you getting a room. People are mean when you live in a car.

Or rent out a room at a Airbnb, it’s cheaper than a room, comes with a kitchen, bathroom and you still get your privacy.

I hate the feeling of having a place but only for a night then having to go back to the car plus the rooms that are cheep are not very nice anyway so for me its not worth it 😮💨

I lived in my car while I was working 12 hour shifts at an Amazon fulfillment center. I was a picker so I ran around the fulfillment center all night for 3 nights in a row and my body was so exhausted. I was off 4 nights a week but I would only go to a hotel one night a week to get a reset, be able to stretch out, take a very thorough shower or relax in a bath, and catch up on some sleep. I downloaded the Wyndham rewards and choice rewards apps and I would only stay at their hotels because I would get points every time I stayed and then get discounted nights or free nights. That one night a week really helped my situation a lot and gave me something to look forward to every week. I would check in as early as I could and check out as late as I could so it was almost a full day at the hotel. And I lived in that car for 2 years. It’s not all or nothing. It’s not 3 nights a week or 0 nights a week. That one night a week made a big difference in how I felt and my mental state.
