@itsospooky: California’s Rarest Fox Is Finding a New Home in Bakersfield The endangered San Joaquin kit fox has lost much of its historic California Central Valley grassland habitat to agriculture, development, and urban expansion. But in Bakersfield, hundreds of these tiny native foxes have adapted to something completely different: life among neighborhoods, parking lots, industrial areas, and backyards. Bakersfield’s urban San Joaquin kit fox population has become one of the species’ most important strongholds, giving researchers a surprising new idea for endangered species conservation—sometimes protecting wildlife might mean helping it survive alongside us. #SanJoaquinKitFox #CaliforniaWildlife #EndangeredSpecies #creatorsearchinsights #foxkit

LadyBlu :
The San Joaquin Kit Fox. What a wonderful & resourceful fox to be able to adapt to urban living. Not only adapting but thriving. It’s beautiful and sad at the same time because they should really be in the wild. We humans seem to creep into every living space there is. Thanks only to God that the kits exist around humans that don’t know they are there. Because the people in Bakersfield don’t realize the kits are there, are the kits able to thrive.Nature always finds a way, when there is one. The San Joaquin Kit Fox, what beauty!

move in my backyard...yall get fed 2 times a week to help with lack of hunting. Healthy meats and fats. Eggs and berries.. Co-exist. You kill rodents around as payment.

I have often thought that maybe the Earth would be better without humans.

We are killing all wildlife and eventually our own people will perish because of it

We have to learn to coexist but we also have to learn how to reuse what we've ruined and leave nature be.
