Para korban yang mengeluhkan pusing, mual, hingga lemas usai santap malam kini menjalani perawatan medis di tujuh rumah sakit terdekat. Wakil Gubernur Jawa Timur sekaligus Kepala Satgas MBG Jatim, Emil Elestianto Dardak, merespons cepat dengan mengecek langsung kondisi para korban di RS RT Notopuro. Guna proses penyelidikan lebih lanjut, operasional dapur SPPG Kalitengah saat ini telah dihentikan sementara oleh Badan Gizi Nasional.
