I’ve tried to go each time we visit. The lady in the ticket area is so very rude. She would not even let us stay where it was shaded. We left. We even paid once and left because she was extremely rude. I am going to try again this October trip.

Today, I finally got to ring the bell after countless of poking sessions and needle scars. It took me sheer grit to get to this point but I want to let you know I didn't get here alone. Let me begin by acknowledging the amazing "village" behind this win. To my medical team, thank you for your unmatched competence and kindness despite my lack of drive and impatience coming to the clinic some days. To my ladies squad, I hope you realise that with that sound of the bell, marks not only the end of my chemo treatment, but a sweet reminder of how I was carried through by your compassion and love for me. You made sure I never had to sit alone on that chemo chair. The hours became shorter because you filled it with meaningful life conversations I will treasure for a lifetime. To my friends and family who prayed, fasted and thought of me unceasingly, I've felt your support. And look where your efforts have brought me. To my rock and love of my life, Lawrence Lena, thank you for your mental fortitude, for carrying all the emotional weight these past few months up to the present. You fought well too my Tata. No enemy is too big as long as I have you alongside. Above all, I want to thank God for the provisions, the life lessons and the grace He has shown me in my pursuit of survival and healing. I may not be cancer free yet, but He has healed the inner most parts of me in ways I can't comprehend. My life has been a testament of His goodness and mercy. I'm starting to feel whole again because of the deepened relationship I've built with Him in this journey. #mycancerjourney #chemograduation #chemobell #BreastCancerSurvivorship
