your not supposed to bathe a fresh newborn everyday, it's bad for their skin plus they have to let the umbilical cord fall off bc it can easily get infected from moisture

My daughter and him are a few days apart she has not had a full submerged bath either. Her umbilical cord just fell off and you still have to let it dry out. I’ve been doing wipe downs and sponge baths.

all my kids got full baths as soon as they got home. They are full of blood and fluids. All my kids survived. I can't stand when people act all weird about cleaning their babies.

You cannot give your baby a bath when they first come home because they have umbilical cord in their stomach the doctor tell you not to give them a full bath until the cord falls off, but you can clean them up really good

Yes u can give them a bath even with the umbilical cord still on u just have to wipes them down not submerge their body in the water if no one is telling u this after u give birth then thats crazy and ur baby gets a bath in the hospital they just cover the umbilical cord with a cloth so it dont get to wet
