i took dupixent for about a year before i got super sick, turns out i never had eczema. it was actually psoriasis and it took being on dupixent before waking something up in my body to react to it and then they put me on taltz 🧍🏽♀️the more you know. the auto injector for taltz is 10/10 compared to the dupixent one, i can never feel it and the sound was so traumatic

Oh bless you! Dupixent is very painful! I do it every other week! I can’t imagine how difficult it is injecting another person, let alone a kid. She handled it like a champ though! Dupixent strong💪💕

i have a super high pain tolerance but the dupixent auto injector was traumatizing. i would cry before it ever even touched me because i was so scared of the pain. i switched to the self injector and it was 1000x better. i could control how fast it went it so it barely ever hurt! especially since your daughter is older, it might be a great option!

hey just a tip! i also take dupixent, i initially had the auto injectors and they were incredibly painful since they inject so quickly, you should consider asking ur doctor for just the syringe, so that way you can control how fast it injects which makes it much less painful

I GAME CHANGER is setting the injection out the night before to let it come to room temperature. Then put it in your pocket for 30 minutes before injection. Make it as close to body temp as possible. Helps so much with the pain.

Quick tip for the banana! If you push your finger into the top of it gently it separates itself into 3 pieces! Won’t have to cut it!

When I first started Dupixent in 2016/17, my mom did my injections for me, after a couple months we realized that it was not going to work with her doing them, it was just too painful for me. Once we started having me do it (I was 16/17 years old), I was able to tolerate it so much better! Dupixent was a last ditch effort for me and it made such a difference! When I started it, they hadn’t approved it for the under 18 population but we got approval for me to start it since my eczema was so severe and I was close enough in age. I am so happy that you guys have also had a positive result with Dupixent!

while not exactly the same, I always got to go to a special restaurant after my doctor appointments when I was a kid to try and make the experience of diagnosing a complex issue less scary and difficult. I think she will remember the effort you put into making these unique and fun treats more than the pain of the injection ❣️

Dupixent in the needles hurts so much less than the pens, if that's an option for you. Also, make sure it's warm first! I take it out of the fridge 24 hours before I take it.

here in Brazil we have that, it is called banana real. the only change is that we sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top after frying

I inject a medication every 6 weeks for psoriasis — taking the meds out of the fridge 30 mins before you give it helps with the sting.
