I have a cousin, her and her daughter lived in Atlanta at the time and her daughter called and told us her mother was brain dead and they wanted to take her off of the machines. My aunt and I drove down so she wouldn't be by herself when it happened. When we arrived at the hospital I walked up to her bedside to tell her I was there and she opened her eyes and said my name! The nurses said often they see that with people on heavy medication and they immediately started weaning her off. She was never brain dead.

I young man from my town was in a car accident and the parents were told he was brain dead and to take him off the ventilator. His mum couldn’t cope and asked another day. He lived. He works full time, married had children. Perfectly normal.

I’ve been saying this for years and was called a liar and crazy. People have no idea what goes on in hospitals and healthcare systems/facilities 😔

When my nephew had a brain injury, they were very eager to take his organs. But fortunately, he had an infection that night, and they could not do it. And by the next day, he had no more infection. And he's still here 12 years later

I had a stroke during a liver transplant and went into a coma. The doctors told my family not to get their hopes up and that they should pull the plug and let me go. Thank god, my dad told them no, I did wake up after about two weeks, spent a month in the hospital, and now I am healthy and enjoying life with my family. I’m so great full my family didn’t give up on me.

I’m still disturbed by the patient who was obviously freaking out , knowing they were about to kill him for his organs and still were going through with it. They were flat out trying to murder him and it’s not right that they are not in prison
