My cousin is an Actuary….the math courses he took in college were ridiculously hard, it was like nothing to him. 50 people started with him. Only 18 graduated as actual Actuaries

Most of these can be trained and learned, but I am amazed at the Russian girl who can write in two languages simultaneously? how?? Because the difference in the grammar of languages means the words in sentences are not in the same place.

My son is terrible at math but he will say something crazy like “What if we could stop tornadoes by blasting them with sound waves?” Then four years later I read an article about scientists starting to research the use of sound waves on storm disruption. He was like 6 when he said that. He still drops doozy’s every day, and I can’t keep up with them all.

I have a classmate who is not good at maths accidentally created his own maths formula which he got the right answer but my teacher said no. I tried to change the numbers to see if this formula can be applied and it works!

My dad was a chemist. He taught maths, chemistry, and physics. His college grad thesis paper was a solve for the current global warming crisis. I don’t understand much of science but his work was so elaborate and detailed that it seemed to have been written during this ongoing crisis. He actually wrote it in the 80’s. His predictions were spot on and so were his solutions. Sadly he never got to see his work implemented and he died of medical malpractice.

My cousin is an Actuary and he skipped 4 grades and got mathematics and statistics medallion. His Job entail calculating risk and he was part of a team of actuaries that developed life cover for South Africans living with HIV. Dude wanted to buy an apartment but the space didn't look like the advertised square metres and previous owner didn't want us to come measure it so he asked the realtor to send him photos of a wall that had the shadow of the building across it at 8 am 1 pm and 7pm. Dude calculated from the shadow the size of the apartment floor space. The realtor measured the space and he's calculation was accurate and he got the discount he wanted cause he made it clear he buying floor space and not a made up measurement. I knew he was smart but that shocked me

I have the knack of knowing whose coming around a corner by the sound of their steps too. I don’t know how to explain it in logical terms but my mind has a way of memorising not just the way everyone walks but all the details of it too. I’ve never been able to really explain it to anyone but I always figured it’s something everyone did until I realised that’s not the case

knew a dude in the USMC who could tell the exact time down to the minute by just looking at the sky, he would read complex physics and philosophy in the field, could answer crazy math questions in his head (we used to test him) and not intelligence related but he was easily the fastest and most explosive person I've ever met physically. dude was a freak of nature.

The last one is actually pretty common in the people with abusive house holds. I have learned to differentiate stepping patterns of different family members and if they are *issed or such. It's just literal PTSD basically 😭

My old boss used to read books, left page with left eye and right page with right eye at the same time and then could recall everything at a later date with precision. Dude got promo’d basically every promotional cycle which was annoying
