@twistsbyfei: I was actually surprised by how good it looked the second time around. I expected the curl pattern to be a little more stretched out, but once we got it prepped again, it looked just as full and juicy...honestly maybe even better. Whats important is getting the extensions back into that fluffy, separated state after takedown. the client brought the hair already washed, and I pulled the strands apart, separated any pieces that have clumped together, and keep working through it until it looks like that big fluffy pile again. You will lose some hair during the process because not every piece is going to be salvageable. There will be tangles, knots and little matted sections that just need to go. For this install, we reused about 3 packs of burgundy + roughly 2½–3 packs of black, then added 1 fresh pack into the mix. So yep, reuse it. 💖 I’d just recommend having at least one fresh pack on hand to supplement whatever you lose during takedown and prep. And that final result??
