My husband is a straight, Republican, old-fashioned, black or white kind of man. I thought for sure that he would be adamant about a guilty verdict. He hasn’t watched the trial and I’ve watched every second of it. He told me, “I don’t know what women go through with their hormones. If you tell me that something isn’t right and you think she is not guilty, then that’s how it is. You’re the smartest person I know so I trust your judgment.” He’s a good man. I’ve been a nurse over 20 years, so that helps too😂

I really am questioning how other adults in her life (especially her husband) thought it was safe to leave her alone with children when she was clearly not ok and on so many psychotropic medications. How is he or others not responsible???

It’s so frustrating! People that don’t or haven’t struggled with mental health issues just can’t grasp it. Also, side note, I just heard that the jurors were videotaped today and the woman was arrested, so I’m sure that’s not stressful or anything 😩

The mental health issue is huge and should be addressed on higher levels, but I thought she did it, I’m a L&D nurse 34 years, then I followed the trial, I never change my mind but Patrick did it, she knew how to kill herself, but Patrick didn’t , she physically could not of spoken when Patrick “ got” home? And his actions after? I had active physcosis after a med change it’s terrifying but you can still manage a lot of things even though your head is not working correctly. I’m astounded this jury has not come back in 20 minutes with a not guilty verdict. Oh that’s right everything is predicated on Patrick said….

Has anyone heard of Constance Fisher? She killed her 3 children, went to a state hospital, was released and had 3 more children and killed them. Was sent to the state hospital again for the rest of her life.
