I think theres a really good argument to be made that Josh Homme is one of the very few true living "Rock Stars" that are left and still performing at such a high level. Him, Grohl, White, and maybe a small handful more.

Dear Ross, May I introduced you to my favorite local band: Flatwounds. Pronounced flat-woonds, and they go so hard. I've seen them play live a few times this year after really wanting to for years. I started listening not long after they released Raw, and they've done a lot of experimental stuff lately since Chain of Command but as someone who's met and chatted with them, loved all their music even the unreleased ones they've played, and really admire this band, this is a highly reccomended listen from me. Much love from upstate NY

30 years old and still blasting Hollywood undead. can confirm that music taste doesnt really change it just grows. no matter how many genres you get into, no matter how many niche bands you find that become pillars of your Playlists, you always come back to the songs and bands that feel like home. the ones that remind you of what it was like in simpler times and how powerful they felt in your still developing mind. its magic. no other way to put it.
