this is why I appreciate 1st amendment auditors. some are asses, but I've seen sooooo many cops learn rights after they encounter auditors. people think they just start shit, but rights have to be stres tested in order to show the boundaries and let officers know where they are. so sad to hear that YouTube disenfranchised dozens of auditors today. I want to know who pushed them to do that🤔

That he admitted he didn’t know how it works on state property is commendable but also tells the heart of the problem. So many cops don’t know and either assume, just go by whatever the security or employees of the building say or go by whatever other clueless cops have done. They don’t know their job and the laws.
