I borrowed my friends recliner and that was by far the best choice I made, it was one of those that is electric and helps you out of it. muscle repair was the worst part of it.

Get. A. Recliner!!! I slept in that for a good week.. maybe longer because my stomach was so tight I couldn’t lean back all the way. I’ve got all the tips if you need them!!! Document your before a lot too. Because you forget what you looked like before lol

Make sure your pain meds are filled “BEFORE”surgery if possible. After can take hours and you will cry if they are not taken in a good amount of time. Keep a schedule to know when your next dose should be and have someone make sure you wake up to take them no matter what! This will be THE most important part of recovery along side following your surgeons after care instructions. Get up and move A.S.A.P, recovery will go so much smoother if you do.

Once your scare is healed.. massage it. So it doesn’t keloid and the scare is barely noticeable after it’s fully healed! Ask about your bellybutton and if you need anything in it to shape it as it heals. I wish I would have asked sooner.. but still soo happy with my results!
