Some ppl don’t get emotionally attached to things like you do because of the way they grew up that’s all. Whenever I find ppl respond to things differently than I do I try to understand where that person is coming from. Some people grew up transient so they moved all the time and never had a home they grew up in or spent many years in so moving away is not a big deal to them. Compared to you I can see you hold an attachment to your home, and that’s normal to you and that’s okay.

Those people are just jealous and projecting their misery onto you. Be happy you don’t understand the way they think! Being empathetic is a beautiful thing and its most likely just something they didn’t have growing up. Your reasoning for being emotional is so so valid! You have such a big heart 🫶🏼

People can also just not as hyper aware of themselves and others as they should be, feeling emotions deeply and being in tune with how you feel can make it harder for people to understand you but don’t ever dim that part of yourself 🤍

As a jersey girl who moved to Houston ALONE.. with no fam/friends in 2019..it will be HARD. I have no doubt you will find your community within the fitness community here… but being away from my family still eats away at me 7 yrs later.
