@thebermonthsclub: September 1st means I’m officially giving myself permission to start thinking about Christmas 🎄🤍 And NO, that doesn’t mean we’re skipping fall or that you need to have half your Christmas shopping done by next week 😂 I just know how quickly the next few months go. One minute it’s the beginning of September and you feel like you have all the time in the world, and suddenly it’s December and you’re trying to remember who you still need to buy for, where you put the wrapping paper, what day the school Christmas party is, and why you agreed to do 14 different holiday activities 😭🎁 So this year, I want to do things a little differently. September isn’t about doing ALL the Christmas things. It’s about getting some of the mental load out of your head and onto paper (or realistically, into the Notes app 😂). Make the gift list. Start a rough budget. Write down the traditions you actually care about. Save the recipes you want to try. Check what wrapping supplies and decorations you already have before buying more. Put important dates on the calendar. Grab a stocking stuffer here and there when you happen to find a good one. Just little things now that can make such a difference later. 🤍 Because my goal this year isn’t to create the most perfectly decorated, perfectly planned, Pinterest-worthy Christmas imaginable. I want to actually ENJOY December. I want time for Christmas movies on the couch, baking something just because, driving around looking at lights, cozy nights at home, and doing the traditions we love without feeling like there are 37 other things I’m supposed to be doing. And if you’re someone who doesn’t want to think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving, that’s okay too 😂 Save this and come back when you’re ready. But if you’re like me and LOVE having something magical to look forward to… welcome. 🎄✨ We’re getting organized early, enjoying every bit of fall along the way, and hopefully making this holiday season feel a little less stressful and a whole lot more fun.
