I read your book, and I am absolutely shook that a damn video about choosing safety over putting a shopping cart back caused you and your family so much harm. People can become so deeply attached to society’s script of what it considers “acceptable behavior” that they take it to the extreme of attacking and harming one another, and that is honestly crazy to me. I’m so grateful that you took the time to write your book. It was healing for me to a degree because of some of the things I’ve been through but couldn’t fully understand why. You opened my eyes and helped me make sense of things I had struggled to understand before. I love the CART acronym, and I will absolutely be applying it to my life. You are 100% correct, and I truly admire your work. In fact, you inspire me to want to be more like you. Thank you for putting in the hard work, putting yourself out there, and trying to create change for women, children, and society in general. We need more women like you. ❤️
