apparently he announced a fight so chances are if he actually does this the chimpanzee is going to be drugged/ muzzled/ handicapped in some way so he isn’t completely ripped to shreds :/ I hope he’s just bluffing i wouldn’t want an innocent animal getting hurt for no reason

I don’t understand the audacity it takes to truly think one can fight a chimp, let alone the desire to do so? I’d venture that he’d have a better chance with a bonobo considering they’re more evolutionarily similar to humans, but even then… We evolved to travel long distances, there’s a reason why Homo sapiens are in every continent and all of the rest in the family of Hominidae reside in relatively the same geographical locations of origin.

The weakest chimp is biologically way tougher than the strongest human that’s just the way it is. People think it’s just a small soft human. Anyone who says they would beat a chimp is just yapping. Most wouldn’t even be confident they would beat another human who is their own size let alone an animal who uses it arms to swing through the trees all day every day.
