As the bananas begin to grow, liquid fertilizer is sprayed directly onto the fruit to support healthy growth and better quality. Between each hand of bananas, protective foam pads are placed. Then the entire bunch is wrapped in plastic to protect it from pests and prevent damage. When harvest time arrives, the bananas are picked, washed, and packed into special ripening bags. The result?
