@theoutboarddr: 2013 Yamaha F40 Vst inspection. Customer called and said his boat had sat for 6 years with out running it. I drained the vst and what came out looked like tea. Primed fuel system with fresh fuel, checked fluids, and tried to start it. It cranked but wouldn’t start, so i primed the fuel system again. Finnaly got it to start but wouldn’t run above idle and was pouring gas out of the intake from the vst flooding over. Pulled the intake and vst off and this was what i found. #mechanic #repair #maintenance #boat #outboard
