tybw is better then the forth great ninja war but the saskue retrieval arc is better then soul society which is two of the best arcs in each show. imo Naruto is better because saskue retrieval arc was genuinely the greatest arc in the big threee

TYBW is only carried by animation, if you look back when its serialized in the manga its barely relevant, most shonen fans are looking at marineford arc or 4th great ninja war arc

"Might be" it definitely is. Madara literally died to black sludge and was replaced by a random alien that was thrown in last minute. Even the Soul Society is better than 4gnw.

Tybw is genuinely a trash WAR arc. Kubo gave the Quincy some of Bleach’s coolest and most unique abilities, just to make them fight characters who conveniently have the perfect counters, making the matchups feel so forced. The fights also follow the same rinse and repeat formula: one side seems to lose, then reveals a new form and explains its ability to the opponent for some reason. The amount of fake out deaths is also ridiculous. For a war the Quincy spent 1000 years planning, there really aren’t enough meaningful deaths to make it feel like an actual war, I actually wouldn’t even call it a war because these are just straight 1v1s. The only good thing about Tybw is seeing the unrevealed bankais and the fact that the anime has great anime only scenes and animation
