You'll have best views at night over the city, and at sunrise over New Belgrade. Totally worth the price. Genex Tower was designed by Mihajlo Mitrović and completed in 1980. Twin brutalist towers connected by a bridge at the top, originally built as a trade center for Yugoslav companies doing business abroad — today one of the most iconic brutalist buildings in the world. The rotating restaurant on the upper connector never quite worked out. What did work out: the view over New Belgrade at sunrise, when the Sava river catches the light and the socialist housing blocks stretch to the horizon like a concrete sea. New Belgrade was built from scratch after WWII — marshland turned into a modernist city planned entirely on paper, one of the largest urban planning projects in socialist Europe.
