That white film on your tongue isn’t dirt. It’s information. 👅 You have a mucus membrane from your anus to your sinus so if it is in your gut. It most likely is in your sinus. IQuick test: scrape it. If it comes off, you’re most likely looking at yeast overgrowth candida living where it shouldn’t. If it does NOT come off, don’t scrape harder, get it evaluated. Those are two very different things and only one of them is a terrain issue. Here’s what I actually see driving it in my practice: → Sugar and alcohol feeding an overgrowth → Rounds of antibiotics that wiped the good guys out → Low stomach acid, so nothing’s getting killed on the way down → Mouth breathing and dry mouth (no saliva = no defense) → A gut that’s already dysbiotic the tongue is just the part you can see. Tongue scraping is great. But scraping a coating that keeps coming back is like mopping the floor while the sink’s still running. 🚰 I don’t guess at this. I run a GI panel, look at what’s actually overgrown, and rebuild the terrain so the coating stops coming back on its own. #tonguescraping
