Only in 9ja..can dis happen... Govt knows dat most pple sim is linked 2 banks accts.. so Y recircle it...as it poses a serious data security treat... pple in disaporal who av sims cards linked 2 their bank accts..who only trf monies 4rm abroad directly in2 their bank accts r not safe...How can a Nig bank not b liable 4 customers missing monies not authorised.

Same thing happened to me, my kids sister asked me to create an access bank account where she can be sending her money. My phone was stolen and immediately, the person used USSD to clear the balance through buying airtime. How can USSD work without Pin?

Mine was Gtb they were using it to buy card 😭Had to run to the bank to block the account and I use the counter to withdraw all my money since then I haven’t used it again.
