Yes, he's obsessive, toxic, and acting completely out of line — but that’s literally the point of a complex, grey-moral character dealing with loss. Not every character is going to grieve politely. Look, I get that he's not being a good person here, he's being cruel towards Seiroku's wife, I won't defend him, but the comments are judging him like he is a 2 dimensional character, he is supposed to be a toxic person, he is supposed to be obsessive, and the way he grieves Seiroku's death matches it: he lashes out at others, he acts entitled because he thinks he's the only one who understood Seiroku's because he loved him, he throws a tantrum and he also refuses to move on. He's still grieving and is handling it in a very unhealthy way because he is toxic and obsessive.
