Why wouldn’t we just use morphine instead of fentanyl, we are using an opioid anyways and it’s more dangerous? Secondly we’re just trying to taper them off are we not?

My mother is a hospice disabled patient (SAH from brain aneurysm). She’s not conscious anymore and has chronic pain. We just switched from 12,5 to 25 Fentanyl. What happens if you have a fever? Back then on old dose the body heat just made those patches last less but you guys tell here that it’s an overdose issue. Could anyone describe the symptoms or feelings so I could understand if my mom is not ok? Due to her condition it’s extremely hard to understand if she’s overdosed or not bc she’s in MCS

my mother sent me a box of 10 fent patches.. they were 10mmg..i was living on someone's couch, so i left the box of patches in my car... in AUGUST ... 😳needless to say, they wernt as potent ....

My mom’s coworker’s daughter passed away accidentally because she had a (prescribed) fent patch on her back and also used a heating pad on top of it and fell asleep and OD

I was on buprenorphine patches and switched to fentanyl patches 75mg I had to come off them as they was so unreliable and I was withdrawing it was awful
