@madmarcmoto: This is how I clean all my carbs. Use Simple Green D (not the regular Simple Green) because the D version is aluminum safe, and the standard one will splotch in the ultrasonic cleaner. I made a reel a couple years ago showing how to cut scotchbrite pads into 2" diameter cleaning discs for a dremel. Someone commented that I could just leave them as squares, so I tried it, and sure enough the squares work just as well. i ll never us an ultrasonic again , you can spray the whole carb down with UNI airfliter cleaner let it sit about 2 min an spray it off makes all the brass look new beaks down all dirt an grease an wont hurt any plastic rubbers or steel ! best stuff ive ever used!!

no no , that's not how to clean the float needle seat! That's too course! Q tip in cordless drill, dab of valve lapping compound and just make the brass shine up

I once left a chainsaw carb in a ultrasonic cleaner on a Friday , came back Monday and had a metal ball now haha we called it the weekender carb
