If you are between 28 and 34, start these 10 habits before it is too late. 1️⃣ Ask for what you want at work before you feel ready to ask for it. That feeling of readiness does not arrive on its own. 2️⃣ Set up a direct debit to your investment account the day your salary lands. Not at the end of the month. What you do not see you do not spend. 3️⃣ Learn your attachment style before your next serious relationship. You will repeat the same pattern until you can name it. 4️⃣ Find a sponsor at work, not just a mentor. A mentor coaches you. A sponsor says your name in rooms you are not in. At this stage of your career, that is the more valuable relationship. 5️⃣ Have one honest conversation with someone 5 to 8 years ahead of you and ask what they would change. Not what they are proud of. What they would do differently. 6️⃣ Track your energy across the month, not just across the week. When you know your low-focus days in advance you stop scheduling high-stakes things on them. 7️⃣ Check your credit report. Most women have no idea what is on theirs. It affects your mortgage application, your rental, and your ability to negotiate financial products. 8️⃣ Audit who you call when something good happens. Then audit who you call when something breaks. Those two lists should have more overlap than they probably do. 9️⃣ Build one public proof point of your expertise this year. A post, a project, a talk. Your CV says what you did. A public proof point shows how you think. Hiring managers notice the difference. 🔟 Write your three non-negotiables in a partner down and hold to them in the room when you are attracted to someone who does not meet them.
