It didn't match who she'd become anymore, and honestly, getting it removed has done so much for her. Here's how we take on an arm this big: we do the outside and the inside separately, 3–4 weeks apart. Sounds slower, but you actually get more out of each session that way — there's less ink for the body to deal with at once, and it keeps the swelling down for her. Once the ink has faded a bit, we take the whole arm in one go. 8 weeks between rounds, 12 towards the end. She's 8 sessions in now and basically there. What's left is a bit of white ink — and here's something most people don't know: white can oxidise under the laser and actually turn darker before it goes, so a few spots have gone more visible instead of lighter. It's normal. We're giving those areas extra time, and we've had good results letting them fade on their own before pushing further. It takes time and patience.
