homemade cheesy garlic bread dough: 2 1/4 cup (540g) warm water 2 tbsp (25g) sugar 1 tbsp (9g) active dry yeast 2 1/4 tsp (13g) salt 2 tbsp (27g) olive oil ~5 1/2 cups (700g) bread flour (+ more if needed) *bloom yeast in warm water and sugar. once bloomed, add salt, oil, and flour (start with only a couple cups and build up). goal is a soft dough thats not that sticky. knead for 5 min then place in a bowl and cover to rest in a warm spot for about an hour or until its doubled. once doubled, punch dough and cut into 2. form the dough into a loaf by pinching together the edge to seal and tucking in the ends. score the dough and let rise another hour. bake at 375 for 25-30 min or until its golden brown on the outside. recipe ib: melskitchencafe garlic butter: 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter 4 cloves minced garlic (about 12g) 2 tbsp (8g) chopped parsley 1/2 tsp (3g) salt 1/4 tsp (1g) pepper 2 1/2 cups (250g) shredded cheese *ps: i recommend shredding your own cheese, i used a pre-shredded cheese but it didn’t melt as well. combine together everything but the cheese. once the bread cools, slice open and spread on garlic butter mixture. top with shredded cheese and bake at 375 for 10-12 min. optional: broil it for the cheese to be more bubbly and brown! this makes 2 loafs, the garlic butter recipe is for 1. so feel free to double this part or freeze the other loaf :) #cheesy #garlicbread #baking #Recipe #emijuju
