Why are we still arguing like children over PC vs console. Yall are worse than sports fan honestly. I have a PC and PS5 and switch and ROG Ally X. I play a little of it all. Seriously at the end of the day just play what you want and enjoy it. PC gaming is stupid expensive right now. Consoles are a better option for most people because most people already have a TV. to get a proper setup you need all the PC components, add on a mouse, keyboard, desk to put everything on, a monitor and a headset(because most monitors dont have internal speakers). its more cost efficient to get a console vs PC. and in today's world? I have no problem for people who choose console.

let’s say a game like gta 6 comes out. Your PC with a $2000 graphics card is no longer in use as there is not pc version. For the same price you can have a ps5 and a high spec tv.

This feels like coping though bc a console, even at MSRP is fractional of a good/decent PC. You can spend console money on a PC, then be limited to old or easy to run games. Whereas you need to do taxes, store files, watch/store movies etc you can use your phone for that. On the other end, you spend $2-3k speccing a good PC, okay itll last atleast 5-10 years, then youre up for more upgrades in the hundreds of dollars, whereas a console’s lifecycle is around 6-7. So whats better, $600 everu 6-7 years or $2-3k investment with $250-500 minimum every 7-10 years.

Bruh no one is arguing that consoles are legitimately better. The argument is that gaming PCs are too damn expensive. Consoles get most people by just fine and you rarely ever have to troubleshoot shit. Now that consoles have gotten over that 30fps hump for the most part you can get a quality gaming experience comparable to a lower end PC for a third of the price and triple the lifespan. I just have a basic little mini PC for discord and shit next to my Xbox and I get the best of both worlds. Wish to fuck I had steam but hey, that's coming too.

Console vs pc debates is dead stop trying to justify- just buy what you like. A gaming pc of any decent spec is multiple thousands and requires maintenance . I can buy a ASUS laptop for £200 and a console and be under a thousand. It’s like buying a Honda versus a Ferrari. The Honda will go longer with minimal maintenance and be very cost effective . The Ferrari needs an oil change every thousand miles and Needs to be highly maintained and is a money pit. Same situation buy what you like. Pros and cons with both.

Only downside of PC gaming, I have to constantly upgrade the parts and it's EXPENSIVE 😂 like I have AM4 which is fine for now. But in a few years I'll have to change to AM5 and everything due to AI makes it overpriced. Like why does RAM usually cost $120-$200 and with AI it's more like $300-$400 🤔

bro attach a kebord and mouse you can search the web and do your taxes on a ps5 too they have the web on console too i stream and use Netflix Disney plus YouTube dvds music on my Xbox almost everything I need i can use my Xbox if not ive got my phone lol such an invalid argument sure I can't use excel and word but I dont need to

People buy console because it’s pound for pound the best for gaming, You can’t get a pc better than a console for similar price, These type of people compare a $500 console to a $2k computer

I have a gaming/ streaming pc and all the mainline consoles . It all depends on the price you’ve paid for the pc which ultimately is the determining factor of whether it’s worth it or not
