That’s true! In some parts of the Middle East, men may still identify as straight as long as they’re the top one. And in some more conservative Arab countries, men and women can have very limited interaction before marriage, with some schools also being gender-segregated. You can imagine how that might shape people’s attitudes toward sexuality…
